As The World Turns
| Let me start by apologizing to my friends that have called and I still haven't called back. The last 2.5 - 3 weeks have been an insane roller coaster ride for me, my husband and the Shaw OSC Board. As most of you know, I was asked to take the Co-Chair position of the Shaw OSC beginning 1 January. I accepted and was incredibly excited to be a part of such an amazing group. Unfortunately, things took a big turn for the worse. Bottom line is that I am no longer an "adopted spouse" of the 55th fighter squadron. Nor am I a member of the Shaw OSC. I officially resigned this morning. If you can call it resigning when you are left with no other option that is. Not only have I pretty much been in hiding for the past 2 weeks but I have been stressed out to the point of being physically ill......literally. I will not go into details as to what happened that brought all of this about but I will tell you that I will forever stand by the things that I said and did while acting as the representative to the OSC. I wish the Shaw OSC all the best in the world and hope that they can find a way to press forward and continue making the group here an awesome place for all spouses to come together as one, supporting one another. |
