EdVenture!
Today, I traveled to Columbia to chaperone the 2nd grade field trip. We went to the Edventure Museum, home of the largest kid in the world, Big Eddy. He was super cool as you could jungle gym your way through him and see what all of your internal organs and skeletal system worked! Only the head was creepy. Really creepy! Tehehehe. The kids had an absolute blast and those of us parents chaperoning were questioning what kinds of drugs the teachers had given to all of the students to make them so freaking crazy! Tehehehe. The museum was filled with all kinds of amazing educational experiences, not that the kids stopped long enough to really learn anything. Big shocker huh? Tehehehe.

After the museum, we loaded up all of the kiddos onto the bus and hauled them over to Finlay Park. This was my first time there and boy was I impressed. I would have been more impressed with all of the water features had been operational, but even without those functioning, it was an absolutely beautiful park. Unfortunately for a group of toddler mothers and home school mothers, we invaded their obviously scheduled play dates. The parents swooped in rushing their children out of the playground of the park as soon as they saw some 140 2nd graders making a mad dash for the fun equipment! *laughs hysterically*

The day wasn't finished when we got back to the school at 2:30 pm. Instead, Kolby and I walked the perimeter of the school and it's property taking pictures of anything and everything that could stand even the slightest of improvements. It would seem that I have been voluntold for the beautification committee for the school. Tehehe. I don't mind, I actually think this will be lots of fun! Hopefully the fact that none of the other 3 people that were suppose to show up for this walk through didn't show up won't be a sign!
