Dumdumdum!
Oh my, Kolby has been going through a very rebellious stage lately and today was my final straw. He got in trouble and was sent to his room for not bringing home his homework yet again. Apparently this really pissed him off because he started quietly throwing literally everything he owns out of his bedroom door.    So, I quietly waited until about 15 minutes after the last toy was thrown. Then, I got up and walked by the room when he proudly proclaimed "I am not cleaning that up either. EVER!" I gave my sweetest smile and responded, "Don't worry honey. I know you aren't. I'm going to do that for you." Then, I popped open the first trash bag. Oh my how he flew off his bed trying to reclaim his most prized possessions. The stuffed animals if you can believe that! Nope, he didn't get to keep any of those either. Here's the result:  I'm not 100% certain that this will have the full effect that I hope it will, but we shall see. Hell, at this point, I would take any improvement. He kills me. This is the 3rd huge fit in 1.5 weeks but once he is done throwing the fit, he goes back to being the absolute sweetest kid you could ever know! ARGH! |
