NAS Museum
Well, I guess the weather couldn't have held out perfectly for the beach everyday but we didn't mind. We had a tremendous day at NAS visiting their museum and seeing the Hubble IMax Movie. Kolby probably liked that almost as much as he did climbing into the jets and telling me how awesome it would be to fly them everyday! Tehehehe.                    After visiting the museum and stuff, we found our way back to the beach to eat at a totally awesome place called Flounders! Jeff's buddy Rip and his wife Cathy joined us with their little one. It really was a super cool place to eat. Not only was it right on the beach and totally open to the water, but they had a HUGE playground for all of the kiddos to keep themselves entertained. I'm disappointed that none of us had any battery left on our cameras to take pictures, but that might have been a blessing in disguise too. Me, Jessi and Cathy all sat out on the beach while Jeff and Rip caught up and might have had a little too much to drink! No telling what kind of pictures we would have come home with! Tehehehe. It was a fantastic time though! Thank goodness we had the teenager for a designated driver, even if she did lecture me all the way home about the perils of drinking! *grins* |
