Regional Pinewood Derby
We spent the morning at the mall today for the Boy Scout Regional Pinewood Derby. I must say, I was super impressed with the technological set up and even car weigh in. It reminded me much of a pattern contest! Tehehe.      After the first of four races, Jeff and Kolby had a talk about making sure the car is lined up perfectly because if it's off even just a little bit, the car will wobble coming down the slope and slow the car down. We're getting serious now!  Kolby ended up taking 16th place after all the races were done. Needless to say, both dad and son were super excited and already making plans for next year's car and how to make it even faster! Kolby immediately suggested that they make it a little bit heavier! Dad told him that was a GREAT idea! Tehehe  When Jeff and I went to bed, I got up to grab something and found this sitting on the entertainment center. He's not at all proud is he? Tehehe. My boys had a super fantastic day and I couldn't possibly be more thrilled about that!  |
