She's Better than AWESOME!!
| Well, I missed the ice cream party and had the early release time for school today WAY off. I thought they were having the party after lunch and would be released at 1:30pm. Nope, ice cream party first thing this morning AND released at 10:45! Hahaha. Guess that's one way out of the 100 (+) kids and sundaes! Regardless, I was there for the end of the day anyway....the very end! :) And Mrs. Weathers gave me the most amazing end of the year thank you gift ever! She made the designs on the bag, pitcher and glasses and wrote probably the sweetest card I have ever received. Truly brought tears to my eyes and was far too generous! She also made all of the kids cups and filled them with goodies. Of course, she made absolutely certain that they were in Clemson colors! Tehehe.     We were so incredibly blessed to have Mrs. Weathers for a teacher this year. I wish we could snatch her up and take her to 3rd grade wtih us! I'm really going to miss being in her classroom so much! I know Kolby is because when I told him that he had one awesome teacher, he replied, "she's BETTER than awesome mom!" *smiles* Kolby also met his goal for his last report card and has gotten his new fish. We'll post pictures of our newest addition to the family later tonight once we get him settled in his new home. In the mean time, now that we've scarfed down lunch, we are heading back up to the school to help Mrs. Weathers out one more time packing up her room for the year. Bittersweet I tell ya! |
