Sorry Everyone!
| I know, I know we have been really quiet here lately, but we have had an incredibly rough week here. Sissy got really sick. After our visit with the vet Tuesday, we found out that she has lymphoma. Apparently is a very aggressive form based on how rapidly it came on and her incredible deteriation in such a short amount of time. She's lost about 10 lbs. and now can't walk at all. After a lot of crying and talking, Jeff and I are taking her in tomorrow morning to finally give her some peace. She's miserable and we both feel that she would want Jeff there and he would want to be there. I also don't want to have to do it by myself. So, Sissy will be laid to rest tomorrow afternoon. We are incredibly saddened by this, but know it is the right thing to do for her. On top of that, Jeff's deployment was moved up a few days and he will be leaving this coming Wednesday. Ugh. See, not a good week for Carder Chaos. Please keep us in your thoughts and send all the positive energy that you can! Our love to everyone! |
