We Made It Finally!
After driving for 16 hours on Friday, the kids and I stopped in Terrell, TX when it started storming, even though we were just a few hours from Wichita Falls. It made no sense to drive in a storm while tired. So, we got up early this morning and started our journey again. After getting past Dallas, we met up with some of Zoe's friends so that I could leave her with them. They were going to the Warped Tour there in Dallas together.  Needless to say, she was super duper excited! Kolby though, was even more excited about finally getting to Walter. He was really, really itching to beat him up! Tehehehe. And I don't think it took more than about 5 minutes before all of the kiddos ganged up on Walter either!   It is so awesome to see all of the family again. We have missed them so much and it helps being away from home while Jeff is away! Many, many thanks to all of the neighbors that are collecting the mail, mowing the lawn, babysitting Benny and Nico, the fish. You guys all rock! |
