Hello Denver!!!!
Oh my goodness. What a long day of driving! 10 hours from Wichita Falls to Denver, but I made it and the drive was actually rather pleasant! :) Maybe I was just enjoying actually being alone for the first time in over a month. Tehehehe. I'm not sure I packed warm enough clothes for this trip!  Ummm, a two foot drop on this narrow shoulder that I'm traveling on is a teeny bit disturbing!  Am I the only one that ever worries just how secure those cars really are on those big old trucks?  Everyone that told me it was an easy drive was right.....flat as Kansas. Of course, I suppose that only really means something to you if you've been to Kansas right? Well, I haven't. Can I call it good now? *grins*  Let the Scentsy caravan begin! We ended up having a ton of us in a massive line traveling down the highway together! It was kinda cool!  In case you can't read the yellow sign, it's reminding people that there is a chain law. Ummm, I'm fairly certain that if an area requires a chain law, that I'm in the wrong freaking area! Thank goodness it's July and I'm not in too much threat of snow!  Finally! Hello downtown Denver! The first night of the convention, Julie and I got all registered and then set our priorities straight. Straight to the bar that is! And to top it off, we went to none other than Coyote Ugly! Hehehe. No worries, several drinks later, we did join in on the festivities back at the convention center and joined in the fun at the tail gate party!    Doesn't that look like fun? Next time you should go with us!  Tailgate party!!! |
