Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

Overnight, we finally figured out that if we turned on the water as hot as it would get in the shower and leave the bathroom door open, it would make our room all nice and toasty! Tehehe. Sounds silly I know, but it worked....we weren't freezing anymore!
On day two and after a lot of booze the night before, we were getting closer to Freeport! So, what better way to start the day but to have coffee, breakfast and then of course, the first booze filled drink of the day? I personally can't think of a better way to kick off all of the excitement! :)
When we landed in Freeport, we immediately hit the beach. Unfortunately, the weather was still just chilly enough to keep us out of the water despite the fact that there were plenty of other people swimming away. I'll just assume that those silly people had never seen the ocean before and likely wouldn't again, so they HAD to take advantage of the opportunity before them. Us? We were more than content lounging on the beach, buying jewelry from the hundreds of peddlers on the beach and of course drinking more booze! :)
As in all things, our day on the beach had to come to an end at some point. Which meant meeting back up with the people that we shared a cab/van with to get from the boat to the beach. Hilarious that we were the ones worried that we would lose track of time and be the ones that were late. Riding in the cab/van with us was a large group of friends (couples), one of those couples was late and left us waiting for around 30 minutes before the rest of their friends decided that they would just leave them behind. Our cab/van driver scared the poop out of us on the way back to the boat though. None of us were too sure that we would make it back to the boat alive with his weaving in and out of traffic, slamming on his brakes, passing in areas that clearly would not have been marked as passing lanes here in the US and all while chatting it up on his cell phone! Needless to say, when we did arrive at the boat in one piece, I absolutely insisted on getting a picture with the man that had (at that point) given me the ride of my day!
So what's left for the rest of the evening? Dinner, party and booze of course! Have we caught on to the trend here yet? Tehehe
