NASSAU!!!!! Day three
Mmmmm, nothing like a great cup of java to kick off your day. I'm so lucky. My husband gets up every morning when we are away from home to run and get us coffee and the cruise is no different. While he is out doing that, I get dressed and ready to rock and roll! Which today means breakfast and then of course....booze! Everyday, they have a new drink of the day and a souvenir cup. Today's could NOT be passed up! :)

Today though, we had to drink those drinks fast though or carry them around during our adventures! By the time we walked back to our room to gather our stuff for the Blue Lagoon, the drinks were drained! :) And off we went for a completely new and exciting day!

It seems though that the excursions teams on these ships have the same motto as the Air Force.....Hurry up and wait. So, we are waiting, waiting, waiting for our boat to arrive for us to head on over to the Blue Lagoon! Notice, this is without the booze though. Sad, so very sad.

And finally it arrives.....okay, more we arrived at it after a 1.5 mile walk! Whoasme! Turns out the boat ride was going to take about 45 minutes too! That really eats into your excursion time, so be sure to ask about that kind of stuff when you book them if you are on your first cruise. No worries though, I mean how could it turn out poorly when you are on the Blue Lagoon island? Seriously? All turned out great on the movie right?

Oh my goodness. The island was amazing. The absolute perfect location! We did a little snorkeling, hung out in the hammocks between the palms and then I finally got to get in some parasailing! I've only been trying to get Jeff to do this with me for years! :) Little did I know that my big bad ass fighter pilot husband was scared of a little ol' thing like parasailing! And he sure didn't find it funny when I died laughing because he couldn't let go of the ropes to take a picture of me up in the air! Eventually I did get him to let go for a second though....look ma' no hands!

Jeff couldn't have been more happy to get his feet back on solid ground and we were both a little sad that our time at the Blue Lagoon had come to an end. Or so we thought. As it turned out, we could stay another couple of hours and catch the last boat back to Nassau later! WOOT WOOT! So, what better way to celebrate but with a little swim with the dolphins after a little lunch and of course a really, really strong drink? This was definitely more up Jeff's alley and was so much fun! Especially the dolphim kick where we rode on their noses across the water and then shot off of them!

After the dolphin swim, it was time to head back to Nassau where we did a little shopping and then back to the boat for dinner and drinks. With a little more booze in our systems, we decided it was time to spend some time in the hot tub and of course.....drink some more! Check out the little piece of art that we bought from one of the street vendors too! :)

We couldn't have asked for a more exciting and fun filled day!
