It's raining, it's pouring.....
| The storms kicked back into high gear this evening. It's lasting a heck of a lot longer tonight though. Within the first hour, the news indicated that we had already received 1" of rain and were anticipating a total of about 2.5" by the end of the night. We all really love the stormy weather though, so we are thoroughly enjoying the night. Not much else to report today though. I started working on a new project this afternoon. I will be hosting a golf tournament for the local chapter of CWA in September. My mom happens to be the president of the 6200, so I guess I was the most likely "candidate" anyway. Tehehehe. It will be fun though. I have missed doing the golf tournaments a lot. So, any of you golfers out there, keep your eyes and ears open and come join us! The monies raised will go to their community service funds, which is used for local community assistance where needed. It's helping out a great cause while having a load of fun! Besides it would give you a chance to come out and visit all of us!!!! Poor Jeff is out in the shop tonight working his tail off on a plane that he is beginning to feel like will never get completed! It just seems to keep dragging on and on. It doesn't help that when he orders parts, they aren't in stock....forcing him to drag the process out even further. Still no sign of the paint. Hopefully that will be here in the next day or two. I think that will make him feel tons better. On a more positive note though, he finally ordered the batteries and last bit of stuff he needed for it! YAY!!!! Oh yes, by the way............Happy Birthday Alexis! We love you so very much! And on that note, I'm off to watch a movie....which really means go to sleep on the couch until Jeff comes in from the shop. Hehehe |
