EEG
Well, the clinic finally called back and have arranged for Kolby's EEG. It is set for the 19th of this month. He will have to be there before dawn and will get an IV and be sedated. Then transferred to the diagnostic center for the EEG and transferred back to the hospital where he will stay until he's awake enough to come home. And apparently there is a neurologist in town that he has been referred to. I'm waiting on them to call me back as I type this to schedule that appointment. In the mean time, he's working up his XBox 360 skills to master a new game. Don't ask me what it is though. Tehehehe.

In the mean time, I'm still waiting for Herb Easley to finally get my car fixed. You know, I've taken it in half a dozen times with the same complaint....something wrong with the suspension or something and they have acted like I was crazy every stinking time. This time there was no denying it since the font tires are showing steel and one of those tires is only 2 months old! I took it in last Wednesday and they still have it. Something about doing something with the suspension, struts, replacing both visors in the car, fixing the rattling in the dashboard and passenger window and replacing one of the wheels. And of course they are absolutely refusing to replace the front tires. Which really makes me angry but it's just not worth the fight anymore. So, by the end of the year, I'll be buying a new vehicle. I think Jeff and I have decided on the Chevy Suburban, but we're still looking at other options. We just really want something that more accomodates our life. With all of the traveling we do, it just makes sense to have something bigger. My only debate is whether to hang on to the Malibu for now or go ahead and trade it in along with the truck.

On another note, Zoe has been asked to do a shoot in Oklahoma for a motorcycle calendar that will be distributed nationwide through companies like Barnes and Noble, Hastings and the such. No worries, I've checked it out and it is very tasteful and they will not try to make her look older than she is or try to make her out to be some sort of sex symbol. The pay is about the same as the Mouton's gig but will include gas expenses this time! Nothing is set in stone yet, but if all goes well, she should be shooting for it sometime in the next few weeks. It's all pretty exciting really. There's also another job that she has been asked to interview for. It's another hair and make up editorial type thing. We won't know anything on that for at least 3 weeks though. Possibly not until mid September. Oh, and there's another job that she is being considered for and you'll never guess where it is! OREGON! Muwahahaha. That one is probably a long shot since they would have to pay her a lot more by the time they buy mine and her airline tickets, but keep your fingers crossed anyway! The pay for that one is $1,800 plus travel expenses being covered! WOAH!

Oh, and I finally cooked for the first time in what seems like forever yesterday! Way to go me! Tehehehehe. Zoe and mom are going back to school shopping later today and Kolby has martial arts. Me, I've got some laundry to do and some house cleaning. So, I'm off to get that done.
