Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

What's the best way to avoid getting in trouble? Do your chores and mind your parents of course! Tehehehe. We've had a lot of issues with getting Zoe to do the one chore that she is asked to do in the house. The dishes. You wouldn't think that doing something that rarely takes more than 5 minutes would be such a big deal would you? Well, Zoe will tell you that is it is! Tehehehe. She had another wrestling meet last night, so before laying down, I sent her a text message "DO THE DISHES when you get home". When Jeff and I woke up this morning, we found this!
Kolby brought home his mask that he made at school a few weeks ago and I couldn't help but try it on this morning and try to scare him. My plan was foiled though as he wasn't scared at all, but he did get a good laugh out of it!
Yesterday, Zoe was honored by receiving the academic pin and promoting to MSGT in JROTC! YAY Zoe! We are so proud of all of your accomplishments!
On top of that, her letter jacket arrived! She was so excited but immediately asked that it be taken in to be taken up some. She thought it was too bulky and made her look fat! Muwahahaha....I explained that it's not meant to be a snuggly fitted jacket and that NOTHING could make her look fat! My guess is that we bought that outrageously expensive jacket and she will never wear it because she thinks it makes her look fat! Tehehehe.
I spent the morning at Kolby's school helping with the booster shots for the swine flu that the kiddos were receiving. I went down to pull Kolby from his class to get his shot while we were in the middle of a lull. Oh my goodness! He was ready to get rid of his XBox 360 for life to avoid getting the shot! No kidding, he really was! It ended up that a few of us held him down as he screamed bloody murder begging us not to use the alcohol! Muwahahahahaha. Turns out it wasn't the needle he was worried so much about! *shakes head* I haven't a clue what goes through that child's mind sometimes!
