Bubble Bread and Kolby
I've really enjoyed thumbing through the family cookbook & picking out new to me recipes to try out on the family lately! Today, I found something called bubble bread and it had my mom's name next to it as being the submittee! So, I decided to try it out! OH MY GOODNESS! It was AWESOME! Which caused me to immediately call my mom to fuss at her for never ever making it for us growing up! Tehehehe. She "claims" that it wasn't her recipe and that my grandma messed up the name when she submitted it to the printer. Uh huh mom, I believe that! Just admit that you didn't like cooking for us already! Tehehehe.

It's super easy! Combine & melt in cast iron skillet: 1/4 cup of butter, 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 2 T. water, 1 tsp. cinnamon, 1 tsp. vanilla. Take off heat and add 2 cans of large biscuits (tear up each biscuit into 4 or 5 pieces). Then, bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.

Of course, I also had to take a couple of pictures of Kolby in his new martial arts uniform. He's loving his new class but it's no Warrior's Way (as he likes to remind me...tehehehehe)!
