Jeff sent a couple of pictures of what it looks like to be caught in the middle of a serious sand storm! Oh my, so glad that isn't me! Sorry babe!   He is doing pretty well. He's glad to finally at least be working but is more than ready to get to the flying part! He thinks it will make the time by much faster, but the other guys have warned him that it is incredibly boring. Me? I'm good with boring. I don't think he needs any excitment while flying that jet! That's just my opinion though! Hopefully he will get to take lots more pictures to share! For those of you interested. He has pretty steady access to email. At least a few times a day when he isn't sleeping or working! *laughs* Iraq is 7 hours ahead of us here in SC and he is working nights there. He also managed to get his Skype account up and running. He called for the first time on that last night. The connection isn't very stable and dropped the call quite often, but it's worth it if he gets more than two 15 minute phone calls a week! |
