ARGH!!!!!
I am suppose to be in Lubbock right now at what I consider to be the funnest RC contest of the year!

Perhaps I should be content that I made it to Lubbock today for about 30 minutes before heading back to Wichita Falls in a rental car while leaving Jeff there to go to the competition!

Okay, let me back up a bit.

This morning, it didn't look like I was going to get to go to the contest at all.

I was terribly upset by this.

Then, my wonderful, amazing sister in law, Kim, came to the rescue and agreed to bring Zoe over here in the mornings to drop her off for the day and then pick her up in the evenings so that someone was here to care for the dogs all day. Kim is super and I absolutely adore her.

Finally, about noon, Jeff and I hit the road both thrilled to no end that I am getting to go with him! Then, 3 hours into the 4 hour trip, Zoe calls. Apparently, the next door neighbor phoned animal control on us stating that our dogs were always left unattended, with no food or water, grossly malnurished and abnoxiously loud.

Hmmmm, considering that they always have TWO bowls of food outside for the big dogs, TWO inside for the small dogs, a 20,000 gallon pool for drinking, a baby pool full of water for them and thousands of dollars worth of vet bills from the past six months alone due to our horrible neglect of them.....I find this all QUITE interesting. This isn't the first time that he has called them on Jeff. Actually, it's the 3rd or 4th time. We aren't special though, he does this to most people in the neighborhood. He is also a peeping tom. He loves peeking through the boards of our fence. Oh no, we aren't special in that regard either! He does it to anyone's fence that he can walk alongside!

So, I will be heading out bright and early tomorrow to find something to hang well above the fence line, completely blocking his view to our yard. I will also be adding plenty of no trespassing signs AND beware of owner/dog signs. If I can find it, I will also get the one that reads, "All trespassers will be shot. Survivors will be shot again!" Muwahahahaha....that last one is just for good measure!

I'm absolutely furious by his actions! I can't wait until he gets home so that I can deliver my cease and desist speech to him while handing him copies of all of the vet bills and animal licenses so that he can put his "worried" mind to rest that our animals are in fact very well cared for. Probably better than him even! I also have a sticky note attached to the file with the WFPD phone number listed so that he can phone them in the future with any complaints or concerns that he may have in regard to us.

Okay, the kids are wanting ice cream and I could use some "cooling down" myself. More to come tonight though and I promise it will be a much more pleasant blog!

Sorry for venting on here so much!
