Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

As usual, we joined our family over at my mom's house for the weekly family dinner. This week, we celebrated this month's birthdays. This month was super special though because Walter's son and his family were here with us! Mark, his wife Debbie and their kids are moving back to the area after being away for almost 20 years! YAY!!!
We are finally free of all the extra kiddos we have had around the house for the weekend. Jeff is out flying again. And I'm getting to sit in a completely silent house for awhile! WOW! I suppose that I should be enjoying it, but honestly I'm a bit bored without everyone here. Hehehehe. I just love a full and busy house! Once everyone gets home though, we have a family game and movie night planned! YAY! I'm super excited about that!
Here's a couple of extra pictures of Zoe too. She took these on the car ride home form mom's house and as soon as she walked in the door! *laughs* What a ham!!!!
Jeff and I (along with our two kids and 4 of our nieces & nephews) went out to the flying field today to see the inaugural flight. I'll admit that I was incredibly nervous. So was he for that matter....I'm still not sure who was more nervous though! I had all the faith in the world that it would fly superbly and that he would be completely stoked by it's handling, but what if I was wrong? Or worse, what if something bizarre happened and .... yeah well, I just won't go there!
The plane did in fact fly marvelous! She looked amazing in the air.
The kids and I stopped to pick up some gatorade for Jeff on the way to the flying field and of course, the little ones spotted the sno-cone stand just across the parking lot. Here are some pictures that the two hams took while at the flying field.
I just wish that all of you could have been there to see it for the first time! Since you couldn't though, here are some pictures and a video of it's maiden flight!
The kids and I only stuck around for the first flight. I would have loved to have stayed and watched them all, but I had promised to take all of the kiddos to the water park. So, off we went! Pop's had bought all of them season passes. Now, I just need to get one for Kolby! He had WAY too much fun to not get to go more often and only the older kids got season passes as they could be dropped off and left at the park.
Thanks Pops!!!! You sooooo rock!!! So says me, but especially the kids!!! As you can see, they gave you two....or twelve.....thumbs up!!!!
