Welcome to our crazy corner of the world! Since we have family that is spread across the country, we decided to set up this blog so that
those that we love and miss would have an even better glimpse into our daily lives.
Sit back and enjoy. Hopefully, you will enjoy the ride as much as we do!
Love, Jeff, Shelly, Zoe & Kolby

One would think that all of that would have been more than enough for one day, but not at our house! Jeff and Tera both had to take care of the farms on Farmville and Kolby was bound and determined to give Kaia a piggy back ride while they waited to dye the Easter eggs!
And then, what they have been begging to do for the past 3 nights! Dying the eggs was tons of fun too!
Finally! We get to go to bed and wake up to the surprises the Easter Bunny left! What a fantastic day!!!
When Carder Chaos is involved in anything, you can rest assured that it will be fun and when you add Tera and Kaia to the mix, you know it will be even more fun. The ride home was no different. We made a pit stop about 30 minutes into the trip that left me, Zoe and Tera all rolling in the floor laughing in the women's bathroom!
Throughout the whole trip, Kolby constantly asked when we were going to Myrtle Beach. I would respond, we are in Myrtle Beach. He would groan a bit and clarify, no Myrtle Beach, not the city, the beach! So, needless to say, he was a tad bit excited to finally arrive!
He didn't care that the water temps were somewhere around 60 degrees, he was going in one way or another. And that's just what he did! While he splashed around, I kicked water at everyone else that was too scared to dive out into the pollen filled water! *grins*
After the aquarium, we decided to head down to the board walk to visit Ripley's Haunted House. Kaia and Kolby had been excited about this part of the trip since the night before and couldn't get there fast enough! Unfortunately, about 1 minute into the 10 minute ordeal, they were more than ready to not just get out of the haunted house, but to just go home! Tehehehe. Not that you can tell in these pictures! *smiles*
While there, we saw a club that was clearly an "adult" establishment, but their sign through us for a bit of a loop!
Not sure that we would let our daughter attend teen night there! Tehehe!
For Tera and Kaia's last full day with us, we decided to take a trip up to Myrtle Beach. Our first stop was Ripley's Aquarium. What a deal! With our military discount, we saved over $70.00 and got 4 adults and 2 children in for just $27.00! It was a really cool place to visit and had tons of cool shopping and fun to be had right there, as it was all set up like a circular boardwalk of sorts. Tons of vendors and chain stores alike! The kiddos had a blast. Their absolute favorite part was getting to try to pet the sting rays. Well, that was Kolby and Kaia's favorite part. I think Zoe most enjoyed eating lunch there! Tehehehe.
