Not a Whole Lot New
| Maybe tonight or tomorrow I will download all of the Easter pictures. We seem to have been running like chickens with our heads cut off lately. But, the master bathroom is completely done now. And the shop is pretty close to complete. We just a little bit of the trim left to do and then buying new doors to install on it. Next is Zoe's room. I really wanted to have that done before we left, but I'm not sure that is going to happen after all. I did go buy her a new tv stand yesterday. It's really pretty and is a lot smaller than the one she has. It's also a corner stand, so hopefully that will give her a little more room in there and make the room look a little bigger than it is! Tehehehe. She seems excited about re-doing her room finally. She's even willing to let me go in there and basically throw away all of the crap that she's been saving since birth! Muwahahaha. I won't get anything done today though, I'm teaching at the high school today. Bleh. This work thing is for the birds I tell you! ;) We leave for Oregon on Thursday. Everyone is super excited about this. Especially Kolby. All that he can talk about is finally getting to meet Benny the Beaver and seeing Grandpa Bill. He even suggested taking his XBox 360 so that the two of them could play it again! *laughs* I called yesterday and arranged for us to take a limo to the and from the airport. WAHOO! The kids are going to flip out! Tehehehe. Sounds extravagant huh? The truth is that it isn't going to cost us anymore money than it would to drive to Dallas ourselves and pay for parking.......AND this is going to be a lot more convenient! Anywho, it's about time for me to wake up the boy and get us both ready for school, so I better get up and moving. Hope everyone has a marvelous Tuesday! |
Meeting the Parents
| A girl asks her boyfriend to come over Friday night to meet, and have dinner with her parents. Since this is such a big event, the girl announces to her boyfriend that after dinner, she would like to go out and make love for the first time. The boy is ecstatic, but he has never had sex before, so he takes a trip to the pharmacist to get some condoms. He tells the pharmacist it's his first time and the pharmacist helps the boy for about an hour. He tells the boy everything there is to know about condoms and sex. At the register, the pharmacist asks the boy how many condoms he'd like to buy, a 3-pack, 10-pack, or family pack. The boy insists n the family pack because he thinks he will be rather busy, it being his first time and all. That night, the boy shows up at the girl's parents house and meets his girlfriend at the door. 'Oh, I'm so excited for you to meet my parents, come on in!' The boy goes inside and is taken to the dinner table where the girl's parents are seated. The boy quickly offers to say grace and bows his head. A minute passes, and the boy is still deep in prayer, with his head down. 10 minutes pass, and still no movement from the boy. Finally, after 20 minutes with his head down, the girlfriend leans over and whispers to the boyfriend, 'I had no idea you were this religious.' The boy turns, and whispers back, 'I had no idea your father was a pharmacist!' |
