Quickie
| Simple and short. Sissy's temp is down to 101.2! YAY!!! Sissy ate last night AND this morning. YAY!!!! Sissy walked from the ER clinic to the doctor's office on her own this morning. YAY!!! I'm heading back to the doctor's office right now (I just left there to come check out of the hotel and get my stuff), to bring Sissy home! DOUBLE YAY!!!!! |
Sissy Update
| I should have brought the camera into the clinic with me. Jeff would have absolutely died if he had seen what I saw! Tehehehe....she had this BRIGHT pink bandage wrapped snuggly around her front paw holding in the IV needle! Muwahahahaha Anywho, Sissy is doing well. Still not a clue what is going to happen tomorrow, but undoubtedly everything will be fine. I'm certain of that. She is more than ready to be out of there though. She was super happy to see me. We laid in the floor together and she kept inching her way closer and closer to me. Of course, I wasn't allowed to stop touching or petting her for even a second. She kept watching the door to the room that they brought her to me through. I wasn't sure what that was all about until they walked back in to carry her back to her kennel. This dog, the one that has barely walked in almost a week suddenly jumped up and over to me. I couldn't help but laugh as I yelled NOOOO! She can't be moving like that on her leg! I felt horrible leaving her. I would have stayed longer with her except I felt like she needed her IV more than she needed to visit with me. That is what we brought her here for isn't it? Anyway, I plan on getting a good night's sleep, getting up in the morning and having breakfast at IHOP, stopping by Starbucks and hopefully being at the clinic no later than 9am. They open at 8, so that should give them plenty of time to get in, get things going and have some answers for me. Right? More updates in the morning. |
