I love Sundays. Not just because I don't have to cook dinner, but because I get to hang out with my family. Oh, sometimes it sucks. Sometimes we argue and sometimes, some of us go "psycho" and just walk out claiming that we won't be back. I use to think that made us dysfunctional, but I think it makes us completely normal actually. Which is really a scarey thought. If you just sat and listened to us, most of the time, you would quickly realize just how close we all are. I'm so very blessed to have such an amazing family. I was raised and still firmly believe that your family is all that you have. You don't have to like them all the time but you will forever love them and be there anytime they need you. I simply can't imagine my life without all of them.....as crazy as some of us are. Just ask the kids what we say about that though. "We love our crazy!" Tehehehe.
I often times find myself really sad. I miss my pops and grandma so very much. Sometimes, I feel like it will never be as good as it use to be, without them here. I long for the family gatherings (of all sorts) at grandma's house. I remember the silly antics and wish they were here again. I must remind myself though that it is all still here and pop's and grandma are with us every Sunday. And, no matter what, I am still incredibly lucky to have all of the wonderful family that I have.
Today really reminded me of that. I'm not sure that I have ever told my mom thank you for doing this family dinner thing every Sunday. So, here and now, Mom, THANK YOU! It really does mean a lot to all of us!
Anywho, enough of the mushy stuff. Let's get to the pictures! Tehehehe.
Zoe came in and flipped out over the vast amount of bags filled with purses. I think she thinks we are crazy! Mom and I couldn't help but just laught! Tehehehe

Yep, those bags are stuffed full of purses.
Here's a shot of me and Grace. Then, Kolby and Alexis "practicing"! Tehehehe.

Zoe and mom in their usual state of "togetherness"! Muwahahaha.

Eventually, mom took Zoe's cell phone away from her to see how long she could go without sending a text message. Needless to say, it took about 1/4 of a second before she was tossing things all over the house trying to keep her little fingers busy with something other than her phone! Phahahaha.
Mom asked Zoe to set the table. Dad, what do you think about her job? Tsk, Tsk...someone's gonna get in trouble! :)

And last but not least, mom's new kitchen. She and Walter have been working on this for 6 months or so. It's been a long, slow and sometimes painful process, but it's like 98% done now! AND IT LOOKS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!
