OOPS
| Totally forgot to add the pictures last week that I promised. So...........here they are finally! Jeff and Kolby playing around in the pool. This seems to be quickly becoming a new favorite among these two! It's nice to watch them though.      Walter bought Kolby these balloons and a pump to blow them up. Apparently, Ozzy has something against balloons. Whenever Kolby gets them out, Ozzy flips out barking at them and eventually bites them and bolts in terror when they pop! *laughs hysterically*   Alexis FINALLY cut off her hair! I've been trying to talk her into this forever! WOW Alexis, you look absolutely AMAZING! I knew you would love it!!!!  Zoe is the ultra talented magician. Exactly how DID she get these pictures when no one else was here? *scratches head*    It's really hard to see, but if you look extra close you can see a fly sitting on Ozzy's nose. We found this highly entertaining since he is after all the fly catcher of the house. He'll chase them for hours trying to eat them and here is on that has been on his nose forever.....and NOTHING! Tehehee....catching flies, faster than you!  And of course one of Zoe taking a time out from playing with Kolby in order to catch one of her infamous shots of herself!  This is what we lovingly refer to as Kolby's "Lucky" face! Muwahahaha  See the similarity?  |
Finally
| I have the time and energy to update here. I have been down and out with a terrible sinus infection since this past Friday morning. ARGH! Talk about miserable! Anywho, Monday I took Lucky in for the ultrasound. GOOD NEWS!!! Everything appeared to be 100% normal and NO signs of cancer. YAY for Lucky. Well, we hope YAY anyway. Obviously there is something wrong with him but perhaps it won't be something as grim as cancer. It seems that Lucky has baffled all of the vets that have discussed his case. So, the game plan is to switch him to all puppy food, twice a day and see where he is in two weeks. Tehehehe. This weekend, Jeff decided to groom Sissy. A dog groomer he is not though, so she looks a lot like Jason Vorhees (sp?) from Friday the 13th! *laughs hysterically* It's a hoot really, but she still stinks really bad. Yesterday, I drove the 310 mile round trip to OKC for Sissy to see the surgeon after her explosion. It went exactly as I expected. Drive 2.5 hours there, wait 15 minutes for the vet to see us, the vet comes in for 10 minutes, stretches her leg out, feels the muscle and tells me that everything looks just fine....sending us back on the road for the 2.5 hour drive home. It's a bit more than frustrating, but what do you do? She's back to being an outdoor dog, so perhaps that made it all worth it! Last night, Jeff and I went out to Johnny Carino's with the guys from work. A few of them are leaving this week, so it was a farewell type of deal. It was great to finally get out of the house and socialize with other adults! I almost forgot what that was like. Other than that, now much going on around here. Tomorrow night is the "meet the teacher" night for Kolby. I'm still not super excited about this. I'm excited for him I guess, he seems to be super happy about starting school. Sorry it has taken so long to get this updated. Hope everyone is doing beautifully! |
