17.5 Hours Later
We finally made it home. We got up this morning and hit the road at 4:15 AM Central time. 17.5 hours, 1200 miles, 9 gas (fuel folks not that kind of gas), potty (there may have been some of the gas that you first thought of during these stops, but I can't confirm nor deny) and stretching stops later, we pulled back into our own driveway. Many, many thanks to Zoe's boyfriend, Michael for coming over and unloading our 500 bajiliion bags and such. All I could think of was crawling into bed! Tehehehe. Of course, I totally believe that he was here out of the kindness of his heart and not that he was dying to see Zoe after not seeing her for a month! Hehehehe. Whatever, I don't care why he was here...just that he WAS here!  Can you believe that Jeff hung out smiling like that in the back seat for the whole trip!?!?!?!?! |
